Tokyo Stocks Expected to Remain Top-Heavy Next Week
Tokyo, July 11 (Jiji Press)--Tokyo stocks are expected to remain top-heavy next week, as investors sit on the sidelines to see the results of Japan-U.S. tariff negotiations and the upcoming House of Councillors election in Japan.
This week, the benchmark Nikkei 225 stock average shed 241.2 points, or 0.61 pct, to close at 39,569.68 on Friday after fluctuating in a narrow range roughly between 39,500 and 40,000.
