2 Japanese Shot Dead in Manila

   Manila, Aug. 17 (Jiji Press)--Two Japanese nationals were shot to death in the Manila metropolitan area in the Philippines on Friday night, it was learned Sunday.
   They were attacked after being forced to get out of a taxi, officials at the Japanese Embassy in Manila and other sources said. Their luggage was stolen.
   The incident occurred in a downtown area, according to the sources.
