Parties Backing Tokyo Gov. Koike Seen Keeping Majority in Assembly

   Tokyo, June 22 (Jiji Press)--Three parties supporting Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike are seen maintaining their combined majority in Sunday's metropolitan assembly election, according to an exit poll by Jiji Press and other sources.
   Of the three, the Liberal Democratic Party, which forms a ruling coalition with Komeito in national politics, and Tomin First no Kai (Tokyoites first group), a regional party with Koike as special adviser, are competing to become the largest force in the assembly.
   Political parties focused on the Tokyo assembly election in the lead-up to the House of Councillors election next month.
