Founding Family Gives Up Buyout Plan for Japan's Seven & i
Tokyo, Feb. 27 (Jiji Press)--A founding family of Seven & i Holdings Co. has given up its acquisition plan for the Japanese retail giant due to financing difficulties, the company said Thursday.
Trading house Itochu Corp., which had been mulling a possible investment of around 1 trillion yen, also said that it will not join the buyout plan.
