Lighting Designer Toshiyuki Tani's 'Hokore06' Lamp with Shade Using More than 3,000 Bamboo Strips Displayed at Entrance

Unique artworks themed on 'oni' horned demons and illuminations turned the Hyakudan Kaidan 99-step staircase and rooms it connects into a fantastical world at the 10th 'Wa no Akari' exhibition in summer 2025, ahead of the temporary closure from October of the Tokyo metropolitan government-designated tangible cultural property at Hotel Gajoen Tokyo.
